Driving on the A4 motorway towards Rotterdam, you take exit no. 12. You follow the Den Haag-Zuid route on this exit. At the 2nd traffic light you turn left onto the N222, direction Kwintsheul. At the second roundabout you turn right onto the Zwethlaan. Continue until the end (about 2 km). At the end you will come to the Middel Broekweg (T-junction). Here you turn right. After 300 meters you will find the museum on the right.
Directions from the Benelux Tunnel
When traveling on the A4 motorway toward Amsterdam, take exit 12 (Den Haag-Zuid). At the top of the slip road, turn left at the traffic lights. At the third set of traffic lights, turn left onto the N222 toward Kwintsheul. At the second roundabout, turn right onto the Zwethlaan. Follow this road to the very end (approximately 2 km). At the T-junction, turn right onto the Middel Broekweg. You will find the museum on your right after 300 meters.

EBS bus line 30 stops directly outside the museum every fifteen minutes (bus stop: Westlands Museum). This service connects Naaldwijk via Rijswijk to Den Haag-Leidschenveen and Zoetermeer in both directions.

Accessibility
The museum is fully wheelchair accessible, with the exception of the information center and the education room. The exhibition on the upper floor can be reached by elevator and there is a disabled toilet available. There are two (simple) wheelchairs and two walkers in the museum. If you want to use it, it's best to book in advance (free). The regular entrance fee applies to any supervisors. This does not apply to attendants from a care home pushing a wheelchair: they can enter for free.
Visitor Guidelines
• Coats and Jackets: Coats may be left in the museum cloakroom, located just past the reception desk on the left.
• Bags and Lockers: Backpacks, bags larger than A4 size, and loose hand luggage are not permitted inside the museum. These can be left in the cloakroom or stored in a locker.
• Supervision of Children: Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult, with a minimum of one adult per four children.
• Photography: Photography and filming are permitted throughout the museum.
• Food and Drinks: Consuming your own food and drinks is not permitted anywhere inside the museum buildings or on the grounds.
• Touching Collections: To preserve our heritage, please do not touch the collection items in the exhibition rooms and foyer, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
• Phone Use: We kindly ask you to be mindful of other visitors and keep phone conversations to a minimum.
• Quiet Atmosphere: Running and shouting are not permitted. We kindly request that you speak in quiet tones inside the museum buildings.
• Pets: Pets are not allowed inside the museum, with the exception of the foyer and the function room 'The Hooiberg', provided they are kept on a leash. Owners are required to clean up after their pets immediately.
• Assistance Dogs: Certified assistance and guide dogs are welcome throughout the entire museum.
• Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all museum buildings, but is permitted outside on the terrace.
• The Garden Harvest: Please do not pick any fruits or take vegetables from the garden. Instead, you can purchase our fresh, home-grown produce for a small price in the museum shop.
• Staff Instructions: For your safety and comfort, instructions from our museum staff must be followed at all times.
